Natalia Fabra has received the “EAERE Award for ERC Grant Laureates in the field of environmental and resource economics”, presented at the 2026 World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists, held at NOVA University in Lisbon.
The “EAERE Award for ERC Grants laureates in the field of environmental and resource economics” recognizes the scientific excellence of ERC grantees (Starting Grants, Consolidator Grants, Advanced Grants and Synergy Grants). It aims to welcome Awardees to the EAERE community by granting them a complimentary membership for the duration of their ERC Grants. Awardees are offered the opportunity to publish regularly the outputs of their research projects via the EAERE magazine, communication channels, and social networks, so that EAERE members will be constantly updated about the progress of the results of frontier research in Europe.
The prize recognizes an ERC Advanced Grant project entitled “Socio-Economic Challenges and Opportunities of the Energy Transition.”
