On October 3, 2024, a “Workshop on Big Data in Asset Management” took place at CEMFI organized by Enrique Sentana and funded by the Santander – CEMFI Research Chair.
Researchers from universities, regulators and financial firms listened to Svetlana Bryzgalova (LBS), Julio Crego (Nova), David Rapach (Atlanta Fed), and Martin Lettau (Berkeley) present their work, ending with a panel discussion chaired by Juan Ayuso (BdE) in which Michael MacMahon (Oxford), Clara Vega (Fed Board), and Sergio Palavecino (Banco Sabadell) talked about the interplay between big data, central banks, and financial markets.
