The Ministry of Inclusion publishes a report on inclusion projects evaluated with CEMFI

10 April 2024

The Spanish Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration has promoted more than 30 pilot projects deploying social inclusion policies linked to the Minimum Income Scheme and financed by the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan. They cover the areas of work, education, benefit non-take up, and others.  They are being evaluated with the methodology of randomized controlled trials in cooperation with CEMFI and J-PAL Europe.

The CEMFI evaluation team is led by Professors Samuel Bentolila and Monica Martinez-Bravo (until January 2024). The team includes CEMFI researchers Guillermo Caruana, Yanina Domenella, Yarine Fawaz, Lajos Kossuth, Inés Torres-Rojas, and Tom Zohar; BdE-CEMFI Research Associates Laura Hospido and Carlos Sanz; CEMFI Pre-doc researchers Paola Giannattasio and Adriano Pace; alongside J-PAL Research Manager Ana García-Hernández and researchers from other academic institutions.

A new report has been published by the Ministry of Inclusion summarizing the key lessons learned from this innovative and ambitious initiative.
