The Board of Trustees of CEMFI has appointed Professor Pedro Mira as new Deputy Director. Pedro Mira (Ph.D. University of Minnesota) is Professor of Economics at CEMFI. His research interests are in the econometrics of structural dynamic models of discrete choice and in Empirical Microeconomics with a particular focus in Economic Demography and the Economics of Ageing. He has worked on the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) as the Spanish country team leader since 2004.
