CEMFI hosts the ceremony of the 2017 Bernácer Prize, awarded to Ricardo Reis

The 2017 Bernácer Prize was awarded to Professor Ricardo Reis (London School of Economics) for his influential research on the transmission of shocks in the presence of sticky information and the analysis of automatic stabilizers during the business cycle.

CEMFI hosted the award ceremony on 24 November 2017. The ceremony was chaired by Luis M. Linde, Governor of the Bank of Spain, and it had as speakers Vítor Constâncio, Vicepresident of the ECB, and Guillermo de la Dehesa, Chairman of the Observatory of the European Central Bank.
